Rustic Weddings at the Savage River Lodge in Western Maryland

Elope to Paradise

There’s much to be said for an intimate wedding for two; set in a fresh blanket of snow in the forest, or on the sunny porch of Cabin 10 surrounded by chirping birds and lush greenery.

We can make it happen.

From our Christian minister, to on-site civil wedding officiant, we finalize all of the details for intimate ceremony.

There are many gorgeous places on the Lodge grounds to hold such an event. The Bodhi

green trail provides a great forest setting. Hike to the Outer Loop of the Red Trail for a

more rugged ceremony at the vista. One of our favorite spots, and our guests’, is on the porch of either Premier Cabin 10 or 11; the private porch, facing the green trail with your four-

legged companion at your side. During the slower weekdays, depending on the circumstances, we can accommodate your intimate ceremony in the main Lodge itself. Either in front of our double-sided fireplace or on the spacious Lodge decking, provide a

lovely back drop for the bride and groom-to-be.

Afterwards, return to chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Gruet Sparkling Wine awaiting your arrival in the cabin. Dine with just the two of you in your cabin, or celebrate the affair in the main Lodge with an included $100 gift certificate.

As the wedding season is gearing up, avoid all the stress and decision-making.

The Savage River Lodge elopement package includes a minister/civil officiant, one bouquet and a boutineer, a petit wedding cake, photos of your big day on a CD, chocolate covered strawberries, Gruet Sparkling Wine and a $100 gift certificate to dine in our restaurant.
